I don’t know about you, but I’m pretty much ready to have the best summer ever after the last year we’ve had. I’m so excited to be able to have people over again, and to socialize and just have fun.

In anticipation of all the backyard play dates and girl’s wine nights to come, I’ve been working on revamping my backyard to be my own little oasis. So many stores are still sold out of outdoor stuff…let’s face it, it’s been a hot commodity, but I’ve been finding so many cute things on wayfair.ca. We have a pretty small yard & deck space, but that doesn’t mean it can’t still look and function great. It just means I need to pay a bit more attention to the scale and measurement of the pieces I add. We also have a south-facing yard, so I need to make sure the pieces I add keep that in mind. I love the heat, but that afternoon sun can be fairly intense. I have no desire to sit on black patio furniture in the beating sun thank you very much!
